Teide, the spectacular volcano on the island, is at the top of my list and highly recommended to anyone visiting Tenerife! This natural monument is a symbol and pride of the Canary Islands, which makes it the most visited national park in Spain. The experience of climbing above the clouds is amazing. After leaving a magnificent pine forest endemic to Tenerife, we enter the huge crater of Cañadas del Teide where we enjoy the magnificent view of the fabulous seas and lava rivers petrified by time. A sight to behold!
Who doesn’t love setting out to the big blue sea? Here on Tenerife, we take boat trips to the Atlantic Ocean with the three-level Royal Dolphin catamaran which is perfect for families with children. On board the Royal Dolphin, you will have the unique opportunity to soak up the beauty of the scenic west coast of the island and bathe in the beautiful sea of the Canary Islands. If you are lucky, you may even be able to gaze out at the families of cetaceans that live between Tenerife and La Gomera during your trip.
The three largest cities in Tenerife have so much to offer in history, culture and leisure. Visit any of these cities to get a glimpse of the history of Tenerife. Whether you are planning to shop, visit museums, cathedrals, parks or simply be impressed by the most traditional Canarian architecture, these are the star cities are worth your visit.
Entering the Anaga peninsula is like going deep into the oldest laurel forests of fairy tales. The nature that will sharpen our senses where you can look, smell, touch and listen to the purest essences offered by the humid and lush forests of Canary pine. If our passion is hiking and nature, Anaga shall not be missed.
Despite being the closest island to Tenerife, La Gomera opens the doors to a world totally different from the other islands in the Atlantic. The landscape on La Gomera is unique in the world that you will fall in love with from the first moment. Its microclimate offers cool breezes that caress its ravines and forests. Enjoy a day out and explore the Garajonay park, characterized by a dense humidity that is perfect for the growth of the laurel and many species of subtropical plants. La Gomera is a magical island that invites you to explore up close.
Don’t forget many other “classic” attractions waiting to be discovered on Tenerife! In one of our excursions, we have the opportunity to explore the most interesting and mystical corners of the island. Highlights include La Laguna with its quaint streets and stores which offer many wonderful photo opportunities, as well as mystical pyramids in Güimar, where you can even join the tasting of local tapas and wine.
We human beings have always dreamed of exploring the seabed. In this fantastic submarine trip organized by Submarine Safaris, we dive 30 meters below the surface to discover the wonders of the secretive underwater world, a world full of life in its wildest state in the almighty depths of the Atlantic.
